November as a month sucks hardcore. For Zeig it’s been the entire month cause of his work schedule, for Tom it’s school and home, and for me it’s just plain school. And really it’s only been the end of the month of me. It’s nearly the end of the semester and so I’ve got a crap load of stuff on my plate trying to get things done. I’m going to be so greatful when Zeig and I head up to Mich. for Thanksgiving next week. it’s going to be the best 4 days off that I’ll get. So that’s all I wanted to rant about now I have to get back to working.
of both the new WoW expansion and NXE. First thing…NXE. I still don’t know how I feel about the new dashboard; there are some things I love and some things I don’t need. One thing that ticked me off was when I was prompted to install it. Everything was fine and dandy with my live connection until then. After the download, I was able to stay connected two, three minutes tops. Thankfully that has been fixed! All I have to say after that is I don’t know how I ever played Fable 2 off the disc. No more hiccups when I press start, faster loading in zones, overall awesomeness!
On to WoW. Yeah it’s the same as before mostly. I love that I can finally feel like I’m doing something progression wise (I’m not a huge fan of raids). But some of the changes urk me currently. I’ll have more on that once I get farther into the content though. Until then I’m out…oh and Zeig claims to try and update 11/21, but I’ve heard that before >.<
ok well, i am still here, but as always when i try to get things going here the world says STOP BITCH! and throws a puppy at me. why a puppy you ask? … well that’s a great question. sadly i don’t know why. basically what’s going on now is that my job has now been consolidated into a 4 day week leaving my Fridays free, but as a result this makes me have to work 10+ hour days. which frankly leaves me feeling rather drained as i am learning to day. i am going to take the rest of this week to work on the site and to make a comic for Friday. gonna try to do 2 days a week next week.
the biggest pain though about all of this is that my boss got fired right before this change happened, leaving me to fill a large void (insert fat joke here). but needless to say expect more from me, and hopefully better quality in comics too. i could make posts every day but they wouldn’t be very good, and i think that may be part of my flaw he he ^_^;;;. i should get consistent and i really owe it to anyone who has been following this comic. again sorry for the lack of comics. trying to do better.
I can understand what is going on in Mother 3 (and not trying to piece it together from the scenery). I love starmen.net more than ever. The community surrounding the Mother/Earthbound series in the states is amazing considering we only received one game in the series. If a group of people can be dedicated enough to spend almost two years translating a game that will most likely never come out (no matter how much noise we make) then I have hope that someone will notice and decide to localize. While I normally do not approve of the use of ROMs, I own an actual Mother 3 cart, if this is the only way I can play the game in english then so be it. They have not only released a patch, but are also working on a strategy guide for the game. These people are doing what they love and for no cost. If you are a fan of the series then I suggest downloading the translation patch here. And if you’re like me and want an English strategy guide then be like me and reserve a hard copy of it here (only available if you preorder, once it’s sent to print only digital versions will be available). Of course you will need to be on your own to get a copy of the ROM file, but they do have links to GBA Emulators ;D. All I can say is thanks to all those involved in both the translation and strat guide, and keep up this amazing work. Perhaps someday, we will get our wish of an official release. Until then, keep using your Psi abilities, you never know when you’ll need them.
…To promote the site lol. That’s my way of trying to help Zeig and Tom get traffic to the site. And I just finished a new one after several months of my WMM(Windows movie maker for the N00bs lol) didn’t want to work. So I tried to use Adobe Premiere Pro…That didn’t work out cause A) it didn’t like the video’s frames per second and B) I don’t know how to use it very fluently just yet ^^; lol. Any ways here it is.
In other news today was election day and wouldn’t you know it, it looks like Obama won. Whoo score one for Illinois! lol. I can only hope that America will get a little better now that Bush will no longer be in office. That’s all I wanted Bush out (sorry to all the Bush lovers who read this)
Some Other other news Zeig’s been slacking one the comic because he’s currently working on home renovations. However he should be done with it about midway through next week if not this weekend, so don’t worry there will be another comic soon.
And brighter than ever. And Zeig finally posted a new comic! YAY ZEIG! Anywho just wanted to let everyone know that I’m here, and not dead. I’ve been playing Fable and working and going through mid-terms. And lucky me didn’t get my DLC code with my limited edition Epic fail on Microsoft’s end. Other than that my life sucks. Well ttfn!

at any rate I’m getting going again, and I’m hoping to make stuff snowball. Tom is now Co-writing, and nyrumi is now a ranter :). I’m pretty sure she’s going to complain about me not telling her about the story line on the site. that’s something that is going to stay between Tom and i till every comic is released. its fun to mess with the ones you love ^_^.

Ok so this’ll be my very first post on the SXU website, and I want to try and make it a memorable one; Note the word try is in this sentance. And yet…I got nothing lol. I could choose to write about how much I love Chuck and Heroes and how the episode of Heroes was soooo Bad ass today, but that only last for a sentance or two. I could post my newly made Anime music video, but it’s not 100% done, I still need to add some cool things into it. I could write about how Halloween is this Friday and Zeig and I have absolutely NO idea what we, either sepreately or together, are going to do for that day. I could tell all of the readers about how I got my halloween costume today. I could talk about how I finally have a gamer tag to get better at Halo with. I could talk about school, but lets be honest no one cares about that tiny stuff.
And so sadly dear readers there is not much for me to r4nt about here in my first r4nt. Whether or not this will happen in my other r4nts I can’t be certain, But I will try and find SOMETHING to write about, I promise! For now I’ll leave you all with wishes for a Happy Halloween. Hope it’s spooktacular and fun.
ok, so i have got to say i have had a full plate as of late, but getting back on track. some things are going to go live and be updated here this week, and over on Zeigstudios.com as well. i need to talk to tom though first about some stuff and show off some beta ideas to people as well. look for a comic on friday and the rest of the new stuff im trying to get done on sat.

What was once viewed as the show for left over E3 announcements has once again managed to outshine the US event, and only after one press conference. Today was Microsoft’s press conference and they not only set the stage for the rest of 2008, but also announced what is sure to be one of (if not the) best selling game of 2009, Halo Recon. Granted everyone guessed this announcement after the Bungie teaser, but alas it’s great to see. Another noteworthy announcement was the release of the NXE set for Nov. 19. But my favorite thing from the show thus far? The new RE5 trailer. I simply can not wait for March 13. Not only will this be one of the best birthday presents ever, but it looks like it might be one of the best in the series. Well that’s all for now.
